Publish your first quiz
- Create a quiz and add at least one question with two answers.
- Add complete recommendation cards with public HTTPS links.
- Preview the possible paths, resolve validation messages, and publish.
- Copy the published quiz ID.
- In Theme Editor, add the Product quiz app block by Findory and paste the ID.
- If the App proxy URL was customized in Shopify admin, set the block's App proxy prefix and App proxy subpath to the same values. The defaults are apps and findory.
- Save the theme and test the storefront on desktop and mobile.
Block unavailable in Theme Editor
Confirm the app and extension are installed and the theme uses Online Store 2.0 app blocks. Try a product or page section that accepts app blocks. Findory does not edit theme source files as a fallback.
Custom App proxy path returns an error
Open Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Findory → App proxy. Copy the displayed prefix and subpath into the matching settings in every Findory Product quiz block, then save the theme. This keeps the storefront block aligned with a merchant-customized proxy URL.
Changes do not appear
Confirm the latest version was published, the same published ID is in the theme block, and the quiz is not paused. Then refresh the storefront.
App plan or limit issue
Open Plans in Findory and confirm Shopify reports the expected active App plan. Include the shop domain, expected plan, and exact error message in a support request. Do not send credentials or private Shopify account information.
Privacy or deletion request
Email [email protected] with the shop domain, request type, and enough information to verify your authority. Shopper answers are not intended to leave the browser.
